I'm into the craft doughnut thing. I think District Donuts is the best in the state as far as craft. Although I did have Mr. Ronnie's in Houma once at 10 PM. That shite hit the spot.
I'm a big supporter of Tiger Deaux-nuts. Great local place and owner. Pricing is pretty standard for craft specialty donuts. I agree, I would like the special ones to possibly have a filling. But I don't believe I've ever had a specialty donut served to me hot. This includes all the ones I've had from out of states; which if you look at my instagram, I've sampled a good bit. Now his regular lineup could be kept warm instead of sitting out on the bakers rack.
For being in a new location and still working things out, I think Tiger Deaux-nuts has alot of potential. I'll keep eating his stuff.
