but the coaches are fair game.

how does spewing negativity about the coaches in public forum help to advance lsu's position when perception is so critical to accumulating the assets that we need to be successful?

we have good people doing the hard work of keeping our athletic teams successful, and the angry mobs on the internet - fueled mostly by jealousy and false entitlement - do nothing but make their jobs that much more difficult.

relentlessly shite on coaches for every small perceived transgression, then moan to no end when our effective coaches roll out and we come up short on signing day with a handful of difference makers that listen to this shite every day and want no part of it.

I disagree with coaches sometimes. I am critical of their decisions. I am also critical of a players' actions/play. But I never "shite" on them. There has to be a distinction and there is one here. And I think it's pretty black and white. Not even a fine line. I can say a player is a bad hitter. No problem there. But I can't say he's a POS who doesn't deserve to be on the team. What's sad is that some have a problem seeing a difference between those two. And they're either on the side that thinks all is fair game and should be banned for being an outright a-hole to 18-22 year olds. Or they're wannabe hall monitors who think any criticism is "bashing".
