It just doesn't work that way.

You might say they "should" be paid on incentive...but if you try to do that, while the other 300 schools pay guaranteed money, guess what happens.

Also, coaches are absolutely skewered constantly. If they don't win, they get destroyed publicly. They deal with a ton of unfair criticism.

This never was meant for LSU only but across the board for all schools-

I know it is pie in the sky all I am wanted to point out was universities allowed agents of coaches to create the compensation monster that has led to mediocrity being the norm.
