I'd have to say either Penn international or shimano tiagra.

Really depends. I tend toward the international, but sometimes you need a spinner.

We have two Penn 50 wides and two shimano 80 sides, I like how the tiagras have two speeds.

It takes a real/reel man to land a snapper on a Barbie reel. That shite is like a right of passage for us.

Hahahaha, one of the biggest red snappers I've ever landed was on a little shakespeare spinning reel.

I am looking to get some lever drag trolling setups and am leaning towards the penn Fathom 50w or 60w. I would love to have some gold internationals but a little too much $$$ right now.

They are expensive, but if you take care of them they will last a very long time.

Always used tiagras. 50 for smaller fish 130s when we are going for big marlin.

Biggest yellowfin we've caught was on a 50w, those reels have a lot of arse. Where do you fish?

Bahamas and Bermuda mainly

eta: 50s and 80s are used on fun fishing days while only 130s are used for tournament since there is no reason to not give yourself every advantage possible.
