Ok that makes sense. So if i get bubbles or foam in coolant after i do all that then its probably blown gasket? The kiss of Death.

Yes, bubble mean leak. But...not necessarily the kiss of death. There are tons of cheats to prolong it. All eventually lead to replacing more parts than just a set of gaskets and machining the heads.
