Yeah he definitely doesn't have any KA friends.

We would get calls all the time at our house to go change sorority girls flat tires. Pledges were sent most of time if they were around. It really was part of pledging. They usually repaid with beer so guys didn't mind.

Get over yourself man. If you think every little rich kid that is a KA knows how to change a tire on their own, then you are crazy.

I don't understand why SS is getting a lot of heat about this question.

I really don't get celebrating that time period either.

I'm from Japanese descent, and we don't even come close to celebrating, or recreating our culture during WWII. If anything, this time period is looked back with shame and humility.

I'll bite - it is a celebration of our fraternities heritage. A quick google search or visit to the organization website will show why that is important to us. It's a great chance to throw a weeklong party.... As far as it being secretive, sorry you didn't get a bid bud, you expect to be invited or something? My chapter did all our fun right out in the open, I think the whole town knew what we were up to that week.

Aren't there warlike aspects of your more distant past that ARE revered, though?

Coming from the country that still ain't using knives and forks and peddles escorts who look 12 bathed in white make-up.

I have no issue with his question. I was just trying to help him understand the Old South culture isn't just limited to frat parties but it extends to smaller southern towns from Natchez to Savannah.

Is that a boom? I think that's a boom but I'm not sure. My ex wife was a sorority girl. I thought a legacy means you had a relative be in the frat/sorority and you should have ez path to a bid? Right? If so, then BOOM.
