I was surprised that LSU wasn't in the top 25.

Texas? Tennessee?

Obviously, recent past was not considered.

There's no logical reason why LSU shouldn't be in the top 25. But bleacher report-who cares.

The ranking reasoning had no consistency. Totally sucked

Looks like the ranking is based on 80% basketball, 20% football.

Really? I don't think we finished ranked in either sport. Maybe barely in football. What kind of math are you using?

LSU basketball was almost non-existent until this year.

They needed a couple of teeny conference regular season champs to lose in their tourneys or LSU would be hosting an NIT game tonight.

If La Tech and Murray both won conf tourneys, do you think LSU would be in the NCAA's? I doubt it.

its the combo. LSU basketball is just a glimmer of hope. First NCAA's in a while.

here, let me play WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE LIST. Louisville, which won basketball national championship just two years ago, and which had a football team do well in the past 5 years, is on the list. THAT is a school with BOTH.

STANFORD. Rose bowls and FREQUENT appearances in the NCAA. I bet they are in that 25.

THE Ohio State. Mich State. Wisconsin. They all have good or great basketball teams (final four, all of those three) on the reg and sometimes really good football teams in BIG bowl games.

See how it works? BOTH. I bet Kentucky is not on the list. They have been the dregs in football for a few years.

Ole Miss hasn't won or played for NC in the modern era and has never been to the Final Four, yet they check in at #25, yeah that sounds legit.
