You know, out of all the fricked up things Walter did, and this seems relatively minor, but telling Jesse about basically killing Jane as he sells him off to slavery was just fricked. He has nothing to gain by telling Jesse that. It's just plain sick telling Jesse the worst thing he's done.
Really, Walter does turn into the antagonist of the series, and I think Jesse and Hank turn into the protagonists. While I think it's silly to say Hannibal Lecter was the villain, it's clear at the end Walt was only loyal to himself and sought to frick everyone over (save maybe his own children). He was vicious and deserved Jesse's enslavement fate. Jesse is the guy I feel worst for and changed more than Walt. Walt was always a vicious animal underneath, or else he would have accepted the money from his former partners rather than put his family through that, and would have especially accepted the 5 million towards the end if he wasn't a monster.
