Not sure. The article I read (WBRZ) said the conviction carries a 25 year sentence, but Crowson's family said they were Ok with him only serving a third of it. I wouldn't have been; that's for damn sure.

Nor I.
I guess I am just surprised that the Crowson's have that much input into the sentencing.

That's because you're not involved. The family agreed because they were tired of going to court and having to look that POS in the face.
