People are so fricking spoiled and annoying. There is 1 maybe 2 big men that could come in and immediately impact a team like Martin and mickey. CJJ is doing a ridiculous job recruiting but people still say more more more

Is anyone else concerned there may be a slight learning curve for Simmons? Martin was a top 15 recruit and he struggled his freshman year. I keep telling myself on paper, Simmons is already the best player on our team even if m&m return.

there will be a slight one but he'll have guys like quarterman and hornsby to lean on plus patterson and hopefully one/both of MnM.

he's not as raw as jarell and has a unique skill set and better understanding of how to use it right now. martin also kind of got off to a bumpy start getting hurt 30 seconds into his debut and being in and out of the lineup. mickey by contrast looked great from the jump.

i think it'll take him some time to develop a jumper at this level but he's got the tools to be a multidimensional scorer.

i still wish we got epps more involved down the stretch but he will be another weapon next season.

i aint mad anymore, excited about next year and hope these guys use this to learn what it takes to be a winner, not just a talented team. got to improve in lots of areas though.

Being a consensus no 1 and playing where he has played make Simmons one youcannot compare to previous LSU recruits. Simply he and Blakeney are a different level. Get Malik and that's 3 unlike anything we've had.

With the way Simmons' high school is set up, those kids usually adapt more quickly to college. Take Patterson as an example. He wasn't lights out, but he was extremely solid and good, and Simmons is literally 10 times the player JP is. Martin went to a Class B school in Louisiana, so his main competition came from AAU. AAU is just a bunch of individualized play.
