Yup, and almost WAAAAAAAAAY too much so. Watched the first two a couple nights ago. The whole "TV show ad riffs" thing was so stupid. And the whole "we're on a TV show" thing was just really fricking weird.

I get what they were trying to do, but I felt like it fell really flat. That being said, even though the quality was down a bit, I still enjoyed them both and am glad to have Community back.

I thought the new chick did pretty well. And Chang is still one of the worst parts of the show by far. He is so fricking terrible, and every scene or line with him feels like it's crammed in there whether it fits or not. I never liked him, but he was infinitely better when he was simply the Spanish teacher.

And Shirley looked great, but I wonder why they only showed her for a minute and then never revisited that (I'm sure it's coming in future episodes, but still...it felt out of place).
