Something like what the Pats did when they extended Brady, except they did it a few years early and fully guaranteed the last 2-3 years of the current contract as a signing bonus

Big Ben got a 4 year, $87 million extension today with $60 million guaranteed. I think that a discount at this point is $20 million/year
