There was one interesting thing though... had a mom and two kids there to get their drivers tests. They were in an older minivan that was really showing it's age... probably 300K miles on that thing.
Very nice and humble family as I was able to see from the interactions.
Well, the DMV lady, while being very nice, was visibly scared about riding in that van for the two driving tests. She was almost literally giving the thing a full brake inspection even though their sticker was current.
Anyway, girl drives out and comes back in a few minutes later to the mom who was seated close to me.
Mom: "How'd it go?"
Girl (laughing): "Went great. But the transmission slipped as we were pulling out of the parking lot."
Mom (laughs a little with her daughter: "well we made it through today. This could be the start of good things for us."
Again, very humble family. One of those times when you wish you were an true OT baller so you could pay for car repairs for them to get them a little break, you know?
