What was also as equally a bone headed move was not getting a shot off right before that with 6 on the shot clock after a time out. We get that shot off and it either:
A- goes in.. And it's ball game
B- miss and get an offensive rebound
C- miss and AU gets the rebound, but the clock is not stopping. They are forced to take a time out on the other end of the court and can't set up as good of a play
D- Dont catch iron on the shot, but more time is still run off the clock in the process.
We likely win with scenario a, b and c. And still have a great shot at winning with D.
Instead... We get no shot off and give au the ball in a great position with the ability to set up a good play.
