I love Smashing Pumpkins but they are one of the worst live bands I have ever seen.

Tonight Tonight was an awesome song. Still enjoy listening to it.

That was a great little documentary...until they got past infinite sadness. What a waste.

Mellon collie was a great 90's album.

It really was. 1979, Tonight Tonight, Zero, Bullet with Butterfly Wings, etc.
Ironically, I always really enjoyed the track Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness itself.

First time I got with a chick, "thirty three" was playing on the radio in her bedroom.

There are some great individual songs, but I really have trouble tolerating Billy Corgan. Plus they can't put on a live show worth a shite, apparentlh.

I completely agree, I was so stoked to see them on the Mellon Collie tour and left disappointed. Saw them at a smaller venue on the Adore tour and it was better but still not great. Saw them a 3rd time headlining one those radio station tours (In Houston its Buzz Fest) and it was no bueno. Just not a good live band.

Pumpkins through Machina are my favorite band of all time. I can't get into any of the new stuff.

I like a few of the songs here and there, but the Pumpkins are done and have been. This is just the Billy show now. No Jimmy = no SP.

I think Tarantula is the only post-2000 song I've liked.

They crushed it at Lollapalooza 94. But when I saw them at the Cajundome a couple of years later, they sucked. Bad sound and Billy Corgan was acting like a baby-back bitch. I heard they were awful when they played Voodoo Fest a couple of years ago.
