Counting SEC tournaments
shows me right here how absolutely ignorant you are. Anyone that watched LSU during the Dale Brown years knows that unless LSU needed to get a few wins in the SEC trny to secure a bid, then he put very little emphasis on the conference trny. You really are an ignorant poster on here. Not sure if you are trying to troll or not, but some of Dale's deepest runs were with less talented teams.......that 87 team was something special in terms of heart and playing defense....not so much on talent....but you go ahead and spew your absolute complete bs.

Here comes the bullshite. There were plenty years that LSU lost in the first round of the SEC tourney and didn't make the dance.
Dale brown had a spectacular 3-year run making the 16, 8 and then 4. The problem is, he coached for 22 other years. He was good for LSU basketball and did accomplish things in those 22 years, but it was mostly early exits from tournaments which was my point. The guy coached 1/4 century, of course there are a few runs in there. Hell, John Brady made a final 4. By-and-large, though, Brown's teams were not a threat to go deep in the tournament.
FYI, Winning 2 games is not going deep into a tournament where you need 6 wins. I'd say the elite 8 (halfway) is the minimum requirement for a "deep run". So what's that? 4 deep runs in 25 years?
