With many to Stills and Graham.....they're gone.

We didn't sign both Ingram and Spiller to throw deep. Hey, I hope he can still throw the deep ball consistently. I'm just saying Payton is getting personnel to fit his short/medium game.

What do they have to do with Brees's abilities? Deep passes may not be as successful (though OL improvement could make up for their loss), but that doesn't mean Brees's arm suddenly got weaker/less accurate.

You realize that a running game opens up playaction deep passing right? We've had some of our best deep passing in years that we run the ball well.

And we've always had the most passes to running backs in the NFL. Sproles and Thomas combined for an average of 136 catches/year alone

Strong running game and a dynamic pass catcher out of the backfield opens up the deep ball and creates mismatches at LB and safety
