It's absolutely the right punishment. We live in a fricking civilized society, you can't go around assaulting people to the point of death because you get "caught up in the moment" and get off without any punishment. And frankly I'm more of an eye for an eye kinda guy so IMO he got off easier than he should have, but either way actions have consequences. He got his
