I think this is a bit of an overreaction. Love has struggled of late, and we've seen before that traditional PFs don't mesh well on LeBron-led teams. Bosh was always pulled away from the basket and forced to hit elbow jumpers and corner 3s, and now the same is true with Love on this team. A healthy Varejao is exactly what the team needs, a well-rounded, high IQ, pick and roll player. Love is used to being the number one guy on bad teams, and was allowed to occupy whatever part of the floor he wished. I still think he'll adjust and I think the Cavs will eventually figure out a way to use him consistently to get his full value, it just shouldn't be as a stretch four. If that's the game plan, why not go small and run with LeBron, three guards, and Mosgod?

Go look at varejao history, there's never been a "healthy" time in his career. He's always hurt, and the older he gets, the worse it'll get. Cavs were stupid as frick to sign him to a +$10 million multi year deal.

He's struggled all year.
He might say that it's his role to sit at the three point line, but his back is fricked up. I highly doubt he wants to bang down low.
