A couple of our kids on the baseball team are stuck on scores and can't seem to improve. What's out there that's actually practical that can help? One needs TOPs and the other is trying to get to the next level of TOPs.
Practice, practice, practice. That is the only way to learn how to take a standardized test if you are not a naturally good test taker. Also when they are doing practice problem tell them to set a timer so they can get used to the timed aspect of the test. When I was studying for the MCAT and we had 1.25min/question I practiced with 1min/question and I finished with plenty of time left in all the sections. The time before I had practiced with 1.25min/question and I had time problems.
