Renting a washer and dryer

Long story short. Ours crapped out (the washer). Wife wasn't interested in having a non-matching set.
Sold it. Quickly. As in a couple of hours. This was after I ordered a Speed Queen W & D (thank you Napoleon). Getting word that W & D are now on back order. May not be here until the end of this month.
Wife is not happy about having to bring our clothes to our neighbor, her mother and my mother's house.
Only solution I can come up with is to rent a W & D from a Rent to Own type place. Never done this before. Do they offer week to week renting? Asking here, because they are now closed.
Any recommendations on which business to deal with in BTR / Ascension?

what's wrong with the washateria? Just take it and do drop off service if going somewhere else besides the house to wash clothes depresses your wife that much. This is pretty damn ridiculous

You drop them off at the laundry mat and have their people do it. Most laundry mats have laundry service. It's great and not that expensive. I had them do my laundry while in college. The can fold like a MFer. Highly recommend it

You could buy an old one off Craigslist, then resell when your new stuff arrives.
