I had it done last year & the only thing I couldn't do was put my belt on (there was 1 belt loop that I couldn't get to). I practiced everything (except putting on socks which I figured out later) left-handed for about a week and was good to go.

You need to get some of that sticky "Saran wrap" for showers the first few days until they take the surgical bandages off. Your wife will have to put it on you but it makes things A LOT easier.

Take your time dressing and everything will be fine. Polo shirts are a pain in the arse but you'll figure it out.

You cannot prepare for sleeping in a sling for 5 weeks: it sucks so DWI.

Rehab is 6 months min.

PT is the worst pain ever ever felt in my life. It fricking sucks. So be prepared.

I've been having some pains in mine again here lately. Not crazy, but enough to take 800mg Ibuprofren to calm it down .

You know me, I already fit in at wal mart.
I'm trying to find some pants that I can work in and don't have to button. Are you going to come visit me and bring me treats?
