My wife's uncle use to own a little hole in the wall bar close to the airport in Birmingham. This was back in the late 70's early 80's. Anytime a black dude walked in her uncle would go over to the jukebox and start playing David Allen Coe. They usually didn't stay long after that from what I've been told.
