Yep. Best friend of mine and roommate all through our time at LSU. Awesome book. And not just saying that because I grew up with him.
I'm not big reader and can only think of a couple other books I've read in the past decade. One was a book of short stories of his (The Prospect of Magic), Lone Survivor and American Sniper.
I bought it and finished it in 3 nights. Read it the first two nights and had to skip a day for Valentines Day. Found myself really itching to get back to it each day. Kinda like a good TV series that is coming to an end. You're really excited to watch the finale, but really bummed that it's ending.
It really left me saying..."holy sh*t, is this why people read? I've been missing out all these years."
