Your best bet on the repair is the apple mail in repair. It's a flat rate repair and they will change literally every part that needs to be changed and cover it with a 90 day warranty.

Who did you get that quote from and what are they planning on repairing, specifically. for that price? Is that to replace a specific part or part(s), or is that a flat rate for the entire repair guaranteed?

In general though yes that is a legit price.
