Im with USA/ASG, just upgraded through our cell phone, and also got the fire monitor for $36 a month. Can control alarm and hvac through cell phone, its pretty sweet. House is 7 years old as well btw. Make sure the alarm company, who ever it is, sends certification to homeowners insurance so you can get the discount. Total cost for the new thermostat and alarm touch screen was around $250.
