I've been in govt for 8 years. Started in civil service in La and now I'm in DC.
You'll deal with more bullshite than the private sector but you'll have lots of opportunities to move up and out

This is my concern. I feel like I will be pushed to help people out that I shouldn't, and I feel like I will be handcuffed in what I can and cannot do.
The program really needs to be rebuilt, and I want to actually make a difference.
