I'm not knocking it at all so don't get offended. I'm just telling you what I personally hear about it. I'm sure its probably bs petty jealousy or general haters.

I've been several times, but do not go regularly anymore.

It is definitely worth it to go once and see if it is for you.

There are multiple talks usually given by very good speakers, then time in solitude to reflect on the nature of the talk. I like it but have not been going recently. I might have to get back in.

None of the talks, prayers, masses are mandatory. If you miss a couple meals in a row, they may come on a health check for you, that is all.
