One of our yorkies has epilepsy and had seizures fairly often, maybe once a week.
We give him phenobarbital every morning and hasn't had a seizure since. We have to bring him in every 6 months or so to have his levels checked and get a refill. Not that expensive either, about $30 for 90 pills.

thanks for the response! Good to hear, im taking my girl in one morning to get bloodwork and get her started on the meds asap
