Great book. I first read it at LSU ('80s) for a class. Downloaded it last year and read it again. The Moviegoer by Walker Percy is a pretty good New Orleans book. Not as good as COD.

The Moviegoer by Walker Percy is a fantastic book. One of my favorites. Percy was raised in Mississippi and lived in Louisiana and wrote several books set in Louisiana.
