And don't put the onus and fee on the user this early in the game.

Keep it free and spreading like wildfire and use the number of users to sell ads. You could even do local ads. "Hey, take your next match to Joe's Bar. $3 domestics." Boom. 10 seconds. No one is deleting the app over that.

Thennnnn if you want to get greedy down the road- charge a subscription fee.

People aren't hooked enough yet to pay for it.

Especially since your profile includes your tastes/interests. They could use that to match you with an advertiser the same way they match you with a potential date. "You both like the Port City Cafe" or "You both like the Irish Coast Pub"...and it can direct you to meet at one of those places if you're both walking around downtown Gulfport.
