A 2nd opinion never really hurts. My MIL was diagnosed in Austin with colon cancer, and they gave her a very bleak outlook. My wife and I pushed her to get a 2nd opinion at MD Anderson, which eventually she did, and they were much more helpful. They see everything within the cancer realm and could really give a more thorough diagnosis. But it very well may be the same as what you received at Oschner's. IMO, when it comes to health matters, seek the best advice possible, and getting multiple inputs never hurts.

Right now you don't know if cancerous.

Surgeons at top hospitals are all extremely good.

Go Oschner for surgery. If cancerous, then start looking at MD.
