Anyone with a decent amount of soldering experience should be able to solder to those points. They are small, but there's a decent enough gap between them that there's little chance of creating a short and there are no nearby components to damage or get in the way.

I can't really speak to how well wire glue would work because I've never worked with the stuff. I would be concerned about creating an unreliable connection that would disconnect while in the middle of something important like writing firmware.

Interesting project though. I have been wanting a Kindle lately but can't justify spending the money when I never have the time to read. I might look around for a demo Kindle instead.
