It will affect an interest of mine if things in the industry change to bow to the pressure put on it because of a few women crying foul.
I don't mean devs crying about the threats as this whole ordeal is much larger than that. Anita Sarkisian is on a quest to change games as a whole instead of letting devs do as they please and as PC as everyone tries to be in today's world I have little doubt her and others will influence some changes going forward.

Every company is free to accept and/or reject that kind of thing based on what they believe is best for their business model. That's how our society works.
I think what's really bothering you is that you've been on the losing side of a lot of these "PC battles". You need to accept that your way of thinking is, in many social instances, the minority one. We have progressed greatly as a nation over the years and will continue to do so. Love or leave it.
