I don't disagree with the things being said about age or potential.

Most complaints (including mine) had nothing to do with Cooks but rather the fact that trading up to get him added no value. You gave up your 3rd round pick to jump to get him with Benjamin, Richardson, Matthews, Adams, Landry all on the board still.

It was just not real smart. And looking back so far those other guys bear that out.

He could very well blow up for 1200yds and 12 tds next year but that hasn't happened yet and until it does I won't believe I was wrong.

This. I like him as a receiver but I didn't think he was THAT much better than the other options that didn't require giving up a 3rd rounder in a very deep draft class.
