Does that make it any less useful? Not having to pull my phone out of my pocket or having to leave it on the table at a meeting would be great. And that's not completely true considering I remember reading it will have storage, albeit small.

While I'd love for it to have better than a day of battery life, I don't see that as insufficient. I read standby has a good 19 hours or so and considering I'd basically use it as a notification center for my hand, I don't imagine myself sitting there for longer than 5 minutes on it at a time. Read a text, email, and then be done.
