That's a good idea actually. I'm in Houston often for work, but many people live here and can do a much better job than me giving a better, more complete picture of what to do.

Probably go over to Little Woodrows after Saturday game. Any sports bar downtown will probably be filled with Dynamo fans for season-home opener Saturday Night.

Not to far, its back under interstate (which is next to MM), maybe 5-8 blocks on Walker St. Its about 2 blocks from Dynamo Stadium BBVA and Lofts at Ballpark Apartments.

I probably confused you No more than about 8 blocks away.

Depends on which Little Woodrows. The closest one to MMP is in East Downtown, walking distance from the stadium but is likely to be slammed Saturday night with Dynamo overflow. There is also a Little Woodrows in midtown which you could either taxi/uber or walk back to Main St and take the Metro Rail.

Better bring your change too. Don't be the jerk stealing from the take a penny tray or the needy kids box.

I recommend downloading the ParkMobile app, you can pay for metered parking through it. Use it all the time. Meters are active during the day on Saturday so be aware of that as well. I usually park near Flying Saucer, grab a pint or two and then walk to 6 or so blocks to MMP. Parking in East Downtown will be a tad bit closer but tough to come by since it's a lot more compact and a lot less commercial than downtown. You have plenty of pub choices with either choice. There are usually pedicabs too so you could take those if you're more than a few blocks from the stadium.
