Players are in help side position, but no one double before the ball is actually passed in. Why the hell would you pass the ball to a guy being doubled.

No the game has changed.

It has shifted to a 3 point shooting league. Most teams have attempted the midrange jumper from their arsenal unless they have a player that is very very good at hitting it.
