I got caught doing 78 in a 55 (the speed limit had dropped from 65 less than a mile before). The ticket was supposed to be like $220 or something absurd.
I ended up getting it reduced because I showed up for my court date to contest it and it was my first offense.

Exact thing happened to me last weekend in Boutte, LA except it was a 77 in a 55. Where were you?
