Why? If they've paid their debt to society and don't commit another crime in the future?
I'd be more leery of, say, white collar criminals being allowed to vote again, because the nature of their transgressions lends itself to being useful in shrewdly voting for representatives that will allow loopholes for them to commit similar acts in the future. No one's going to run for office who is lax on violent crime
Now, repeat felons (both violent and non-violent), I believe should have their suffrage permanently revoked.
