I prefer a female dog for indoors. I very much prefer rubbing a female's belly than a males........
Will you be taking her/him ou tin a pirogue? Big anxious males are not as stable as smaller calm females.
Big males are beautiful to look at and watch work. Determined females may swim faster, negotiate thick brush better and be more willing to please.
All in all, either choice is great. Hope you enjoy your new dog and have many successful hunts.

Yeah my yellow lab got jungle fever for CajunCommanders lab. Hasn't been nearly as hyper since getting knocked up. Due by the end of the month
