I have a Panasonic 60GT50 and a Yamaha RX-A820. If I turn on my receiver before my TV or turn my receiver on before my TV fully boots, I get no sound. I have to reboot my receiver for it activate the digital board or something.

It sounds like something is kicking back from the TV as it comes on. How are the two connected? I'm guessing HDMI. If so have you tried swapping out HDMI cables?
