Agreed. His was more long term - he would go weeks in a state of mania and then weeks in a deep depression. Lock his doors, turn the AC as low as it would go, unplug the phones, shut the blinds, wouldn't answer the door, etc. The manic days, he was hard to keep up with. Constantly working on new projects. Brilliant guy, too. Quite mechanically/technically gifted.

i have seen this in many of our patients also. But thei brain just doesnt work right! Its freaking horrible to see and scares the hell out of me because this could happen to anyone anytime.
