When you're going through hell on earth? YEs, yes I do. But I think it's the cowardly and easy way out rather than to pull yourself up and seek help.

That implies that the person was able to even think of something else at the time of their suicide.

I believe they can. It's been reported that on the day that many people commit suicide they seem more cheerful to others than they have been. That's because they're going for the quick fix and they're relieved.

I've read extensively on it, but I just feel differently than you do.

Again, you are drawing assumptions. Assuming that is true, it is just as easy for me to say that they were being nice to everyone because they knew they'd never see them again. That is based on nothing.

Read about neurotransmitters and the effect an imbalance can have on consciousness. Read about what the lack of serotonin and dopamine (and/or an increase in norepinephrine) will do to the prefrontal cortex.

A. Thats not true.

B. If someone is cheery that day its probably because they think their suffering AND the suffering of others they associate with is about to end.

They aren't rational. Stop applying rational thought and ideas to their situation.

I wouldn't do it, but I have dealt with people at that point in their life. Some of you sound very bitter or uneducated on the subject, or a combination of both.
