IMO, nothing will come from it.

It's hard to make a case against this. No proven monetary value. No evidence that TAMU purposefully helped promote the brand.

Yeah. I didn't necessarily mean due to this specific issue. I am thinking more in terms of the trend that has been set with that program. It will bite them in the arse at some point, either directly or indirectly IMO.

I think this is going to be something the NCAA has a problem with. Jeremy Bloom was not allowed to earn income from endorsements for his skiing exploits and maintain his eligibility to play football for the University of Colorado. But then the O'Bannon case has to be taken into consideration too. so who knows what the NCAA will do.

Mike Snyder coined the term and started using it in his tweets, fwiw. He may seek a settlement.

The big thing is that this school has historically gone after anyone very hard for using anything even remotely affiliated with the school. This time they do nothing???
