I'm pretty sure majority of the players who started were Saban guys

Wrong. The majority of players who started the 2008 BCSNG were NOT Saban recruits. 11 were Miles recruits and 11 were Sabans - all of whom sat on the bench for Saban and didn't play much...

Les did pick up some guys that Saban did not have locked up during that hectic January of 2005. However, all of the recruits from 2003 and 2004 and the majority of the '05 recruits were from Saban. That would have accounted for the majority of starters, although when you do a full review, there were a lot of LM guys; Perrilloux, Williams, Scott, Lafell, etc. who were huge contributors in '07. The two-deep was a virtual split of Saban and Miles guys.
