There's no reason to shite on Chavis' actual time here, he had top notch defenses year in and year out here. The fact is we were in the Top 15-ish of college football in defense every year under him. Sure, he had some faults, as does everyone, no one is perfect. Saban's defenses occasionally got lit the frick up too. The way he left and his "legacy" is a whole 'nother story though, he deserves what he gets in that.

Absolutely. frick Chavis. But I wish people could put aside their blind hatred of him for about 5 seconds and look at, like... facts and stuff. Oh well. Rant'd.

Thats not that hard to do when your offense usually has the ball all game.
