Student section attendance was pretty weak for a late season conference game against a major rival.
What are college students doing on a Saturday in February at 1 PM that they can't go to a basketball game for 2 hours and support their school? Even if you are studying, a 2-hour break is good for you.
25K+ undergrads and only about 500 bother to show up?
C'mon students, get behind this team!
P.S. Good job by the ones that were there - "You let the whole team down" on the missed OM FTs was pretty good

I'm not a student, but they are probably working or sleeping Saturday after noons. Got to make that spring break money

The students get unwarranted criticism. There are generally most students at the games than there appears to be, they just choose not to sit in the shitty seats behind the goal. Only when other sections are packed, i.e., Kentucky, does the student section fill up.
