I tried to read all of the posts but found it way too painful. I'm 62 years old and I grew up in a time when people could walk out in their yard or down the street with a gun without anyone thinking anything of it. A rifle in a rack in the back window of a pickup was considered a standard option and may as well have been a windshield wiper it got so little notice. But times have changed. People weren't shooting up movie theaters and high schools back then. I realize that in some people's minds our LEOs have made a bad name for the whole group. I get all of that. But I have one question for all the people defending THIS GUY'S actions. What would you do if you heard a knock at the door, and when you looked through the peep hole you saw a guy in a KILT with an AR on his shoulder. I have grand children living in my home and I know with great certainty what I would do. The first thing I would do is arm myself, and the second thing I would do is call the cops. I would not answer the door assuming he's just a normal guy exercising his legal right to open carry! If you say you would, then you are either a liar or a fool. Take your pick! So in essence I would be asking the police to do what you say is illegal. And I would bet a paycheck that all of you that are defending this guy would do the same thing. Unless you're a total moron!
