The SEC is just upholding a NCAA rule that was self reported by our own compliance dept. In the end there will be a NCAA investigation and they will have the final say. Even if they say it is indeed an infraction then LSU can go through the appeals process to refute any evidence gathered by the NCAA investigation. These sanctions are not written in stone yet

At Penn St their defense would be don't pentalize the players that had nothing to do with it.

No. The SEC handed down a penalty

You've still said absolutely nothing.
You're bringing up NCAA appeals when the NCAA hasn't even made a ruling

You're talking out of your arse. SEC should have stayed out of it
